BMW M4 Gr.4
In the summer of 2013, BMW shuffled its lineup by placing the 3 Series coupe and convertible under the new 4 series umbrella. This meant that the BMW M3 coupe was now known as the M4. Despite the name change, the car was still the same high-performance enthusiast machine as before.
Underneath the aluminum hood with the slight bulge resided a twin-turbocharged inline-6 that allowd the car to run from zero to 62mph in just 4.1 seconds. This was possible, thanks in part to the M4’s remarkably low curb weight of 3,300 lbs, which set new standards in its class. The M4’s lightweight nature also contributed to its agility, as did the car’s active M differential, adaptive M suspension, and the M specific DSC.
